Twenty years ago this past week, my first novel, Trolley Dodgers was published. Since then, I’ve gone on to fame and fortune, had all my books turned into movies, and have a summer home on the Mediterranean Sea. Just kidding! None of that happened.
Instead, my first publisher went belly up in the 2008 economic crash, Trolley Dodgers was passed on by an Academy Award winning producer (hey, if you’re going to fail, fail big), and my home is on a retention pond in Westfield, Indiana.
But, it’s been a fun ride. I still have a day job, but have managed to release three additional novels, six novellas, and three blog collections for Kindle. But best of all, I’ve been writing my blog/newsletter during that time and thanks to all of you, it’s been a lot of fun. I laugh when I put them together and I hope you laugh too when you read them.
Thanks for 20 great years and here’s to 20 more.
Carry on, Citizens!
